Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy made significant statements regarding the latest developments. He stated that they have not yet received a list for the prisoner exchange from Russia during the Istanbul negotiations.

Zelenskiy said, "We believe we can continue the exchange process. If the Russians do not comply with humanitarian agreements, it will cast doubt on all international efforts," he stated.

Ukraine announced that 500 Ukrainian prisoners will return to the country on June 7-8. However, Zelenskiy stated that Russia's proposals are unacceptable.

Zelenskiy emphasized the need to increase pressure on Moscow, saying, "We must strengthen sanctions."
