Yalçın stated, "We will not bow to bravado from the podium or false heroism," emphasizing that Özgür Özel's language portrays him as an inadequate and desperate politician.

He pointed out that Özgür Özel is trying to cover up corruption in CHP-run municipalities and stressed the need for CHP to address its internal issues.

Yalçın declared, "Threatening language and finger-pointing won't work on us. We respond to threats in the language they understand," clearly stating MHP's stance.

Finally, Yalçın criticized CHP's stance on national will, saying, "In municipalities where trustees have been appointed, the national will has been replaced by 'trustee will.'"
