AKP Deputy Chairman Hayati Yazıcı made significant statements at the 'Anatolian Conversations' program organized by the Turkish Press Federation.

Yazıcı emphasized that for President Erdoğan to run again, the Parliament must decide on early elections. He stated, "Today, the President's ability to run again depends on the Parliament's decision."

Hayati Yazıcı pointed out that the new constitution is not being made to facilitate Erdoğan's candidacy, and this issue has not been on the agenda. He also expressed that constitutional changes should be made according to the needs of the country.

Yazıcı stated that constitutional changes are crucial for Turkey's future and that everyone can come to a reasonable agreement during this process. He indicated that they are in favor of creating a constitution as the People's Alliance.
