KRT TV employees protested in Beşiktaş Square due to unpaid salaries and meal allowances. This resistance has reached its 15th day.

Many unions and political parties participated in the protest. Journalists were there to raise awareness about their struggle.

Turgut Dedeoğlu, the President of DİSK Basın-İş, stated that the KRT resistance has highlighted the issues of low wages and insecurity in the media.

KRT employees expressed that they faced low wage impositions and arbitrary dismissals following the channel's change of ownership.

They reported that they were told their deserved payments could not be made and were uncertain about when their severance pay would be processed.
