Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç responded to the statements made by DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları. Tunç stated, "We are not playing ball here; there is a serious issue regarding the elimination of terrorism."

Tunç also addressed the DEM Party's negotiation requests, saying, "The biggest obstacle in this country is the scourge of terrorism. We are fighting to rid ourselves of this scourge."

Tunç emphasized that no response has yet been given to the call for disarmament, stating that when this call is answered, Turkey will make significant progress towards being a terrorism-free country.

He also clarified that there was no negotiation with the DEM Party and that their requests regarding prisoners were not part of a bargaining process.

Finally, Tunç stated, "We will do everything we can to eliminate the terrorist organization and ensure the peace of our country."
