He also criticized the government by saying, "You want to take revenge on Istanbul by detaining and arresting İBB executives."

Furthermore, he pointed out, "You want luxury housing to be built in the valuable areas of Istanbul by the state," highlighting the rent projects.

Finally, he emphasized, "Istanbullers stand together and strong in the toughest times and will thwart your insidious plans," stressing the solidarity of the people.
