CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gokhan Gunaydin gave a strong response to the allegations regarding Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu's diploma.

Gunaydin emphasized that the news about Imamoglu's diploma being canceled is a political operation, highlighting the clear information regarding Imamoglu's educational process.

He stated that Imamoglu completed his education at Girne American University in 1988-1989 and later transferred to Istanbul University in 1990.

Gunaydin pointed out that attempts to invalidate Imamoglu's diploma are a dirty game related to the presidential election process.

He stressed that the process is being closely monitored by both national and international public opinion and that they will continue the legal fight.

Gunaydin stated, "We will not allow this blatant illegality," emphasizing their commitment to fight until the end of the process.
