The flood disaster in Bodrum began with the burst of the main water pipeline.

The incident occurred around 21:00 in the Güvercinlik neighborhood, causing drivers to face difficult moments. Water shot meters into the air and flooded the street.

MUSKI and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Traffic was controlled by the police in a single lane. MUSKI teams also began repair work.

With the water from the burst pipe cut off, traffic returned to normal flow. However, it is stated that more preventive measures need to be taken to avoid such incidents.

It has been reported that similar issues have been experienced in Bodrum for years. Residents are hoping that MUSKI will resolve the issue as soon as possible.
