Heavy rain and storms have significantly impacted many regions in Turkey.

The General Directorate of Meteorology issued warnings for strong storms in the Marmara and Northern Aegean regions. Heavy rainfall was reported in Istanbul, Tekirdağ, Edirne, and Çanakkale, with the rain intensifying in the evening hours.

In Tekirdağ, some homes experienced flooding due to the heavy rain. In Çanakkale, a strong wind shifted to heavy rain in the evening.

Edirne also saw increased rainfall, leading to water accumulation in streets. Citizens sought shelter from the rain in buildings and bus stops.

This situation is particularly important for individuals aged 45-65 to be aware of. Being prepared for natural events is crucial to minimize their impact.

Meteorology warns that such weather events will continue, and citizens are advised to be cautious, especially regarding floods and landslides.
