Climate change and global warming are among the most discussed issues today. Recently, temperatures in Turkey have been significantly below seasonal norms.

According to the data from the General Directorate of Meteorology, as of March 19, temperatures across Turkey have dropped between 8 to 15 degrees. This has led to snowfall in many cities.

Snowfall has intensified in major cities like Ankara and Istanbul. The lowest temperature recorded was -3.1 degrees in Yozgat, highlighting the impacts of climate change.

Weather forecasts indicate that the cold and rainy weather is expected to ease after March 23. However, this does not alleviate concerns regarding climate change.
