Serious irregularities have emerged in the Erasmus program at Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University. According to the Court of Accounts' 2024 audit report, the principles of neutrality and transparency were violated.

The report indicated that a selection committee without rector approval was operating in the selection of students and staff for the Erasmus program. This situation was deemed contrary to the European Union's Erasmus Implementation Handbook.

The Court of Accounts auditors emphasized that the selection process was not conducted in accordance with the principles of equality and neutrality. The university administration reported that necessary actions have been initiated.
