A heat wave is taking over Turkey!

The General Directorate of Meteorology announced that on May 7, temperature records will be broken in Istanbul, Gebze, Kocaeli, Tekirdağ, and Bursa. Experts predict temperatures could rise to 30 degrees this week.

With rising temperatures, citizens are urged to be cautious. Especially avoid staying in the sun for long periods.

Weather forecasts indicate that temperatures are expected to rise even further in the coming days. Special attention is needed in the Marmara region.
