Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ is currently detained in Silivri Prison. In his recent statements, he drew attention to the earthquake danger in Istanbul.

Özdağ stated, "If the earthquake had been 7.2 instead of 6.2, Istanbul and Turkey would have faced a very different scenario." He emphasized the need for necessary precautions after the earthquake.

He mentioned, "We must properly assess this warning from nature," urging that necessary resources should be allocated to address the strategic dangers posed by the impending major Istanbul earthquake.

Özdağ also stated through social media that he is imprisoned for all Turkish nationalists and emphasized that justice belongs to Allah. This reflects his political stance and beliefs.
