Recently, the arrest of youths in Turkey has created a significant impact, especially following the arrest of CHP's presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, leading to hundreds of students being detained.

The allegations of mistreatment faced by these detained youths, including strip searches and being handcuffed for hours, continue to be a topic of discussion on social media and in politics.

CHP Istanbul Provincial Law Commission member Av. Rıza Koçak shared these experiences on SÖZCÜ TV. He reported that the youths were seriously beaten during their detention and were handcuffed for hours.

Koçak stated, "The traumas experienced by the detained youths and the treatment they received are unacceptable. We will initiate legal proceedings regarding this matter."
