Baltic Countries Strengthen Air Defense

The Baltic countries held an important meeting to strengthen their air defenses. This meeting, hosted by Lithuania, focused on issues such as airspace monitoring and maritime security.
Lithuanian Chief of General Staff Raimundas Vaikšnoras emphasized the importance of acting as a single team during the meeting. He stated that cooperation in air and maritime monitoring and military training should be enhanced.
The meeting also addressed the continuation of support for Ukraine and the enhancement of defense capacity. Countries on NATO's eastern flank are on high alert due to violations of their airspace by Russian military jets.
This meeting is held annually in rotation among the Baltic countries. Estonia hosted this year's meeting, where significant decisions were made.
