Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is on an important visit to Azerbaijan.

On October 6-7, 2025, prior to the TDT 12th Summit, Minister Fidan met with the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister. This meeting is crucial for strengthening the role of the Turkic States Organization (TDT) in international relations.

Minister Fidan also met with the Advisor to the President of Azerbaijan, discussing regional issues. These meetings are seen as a significant step in Turkey's foreign policy.

Additionally, Minister Fidan conducted phone conversations with the Egyptian Foreign Minister. The discussions included Israel's attacks on Iran and other regional matters.
