Starbucks Receives Billion Dollar Offers for China Operations

Starbucks has received jaw-dropping offers for its operations in China!
Asian private equity firms Centurium Capital and Hillhouse Capital, along with American giants Carlyle Group and KKR & Co, are competing for a stake in Starbucks' Chinese operations. This highlights the increasing global competition.
Starbucks announced last May that it had officially started the sales process for its operations in China. However, they are currently not considering a complete sale.
It is reported that about 30 domestic and foreign private equity firms have made non-binding offers. Starbucks is in the process of evaluating these offers.
It is expected that the bidders could be shortlisted within the next two months, but completing the entire deal by the end of this year is unlikely.
