EU leaders convened for an important summit in Brussels. This summit focused on Europe's security and defense plans.

The heads of state and government from 27 member countries came together to discuss support for Ukraine and the security of the continent. The summit was led by EU Council President Antonio Costa.

Leaders will hold evaluations with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola and then have an online meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski. These discussions are seen as a significant step to enhance European security.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will also participate in part of the sessions. This highlights the importance of international cooperation once again.
