Erdem Kara, the President of the CHP Istanbul Youth Branch, stated that the minimum wage is below the hunger line. He emphasized that they will continue to fight against the poverty imposed on the youth and workers.

Emre Tiftik, the Deputy General President of the CHP Youth Branch, pointed out the effects of the minimum wage on young people. He expressed that high rent prices make it impossible for minimum wage workers to meet their basic needs.

The CHP, which fights for the future of the youth, criticizes the policies of the government against young people. The desire of young people to leave Turkey has reached nearly 80%.

CHP leader Özgür Özel met with detained youth to listen to their experiences. A message was conveyed that the youth are not afraid and will continue to fight.
