A major operation centered in Adana has made headlines across the country.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 80 gang members were arrested in operations conducted in Adana, Istanbul, Izmir, Mersin, and Osmaniye. The operation targets serious charges including forming an organization for committing crimes and attempted murder.

The operation resulted in the seizure of 19 unlicensed firearms, 4 hand grenades, and various amounts of drugs. Minister Yerlikaya stated, "We will not allow any criminal to disturb the peace of this beautiful city."

Out of the 80 suspects arrested, 48 were detained, and judicial control was ordered for 19 others. This operation is part of the ongoing fight against organized crime.

Minister Yerlikaya thanked the law enforcement agencies coordinating the operations and emphasized the commitment to continue fighting crime.
