Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu made significant statements on social media. Despite being detained, he conveyed hopeful messages about the future of Istanbul.

Imamoğlu stated, "The year 2025 has been filled with services for our Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality despite all unlawful practices." He also sent greetings to his colleagues.

In his other social media posts, Imamoğlu highlighted that we are at a critical juncture for the future of the country. He reiterated his election call and warned the public.

"A handful of malicious individuals; are they making you deceived again with their betrayals?" he said, addressing President Erdoğan. Imamoğlu drew attention to the difficulties faced by the public.

Imamoğlu emphasized, "Sovereignty unconditionally belongs to the nation," highlighting the importance of the people's will. He stated that the true will of the people will be revealed at the ballot box in the elections.
