CHP leader Özgür Özel made significant statements during a rally held in front of the Çağlayan Courthouse.

Özel stated that the allegations of espionage against Ekrem İmamoğlu are a confession. He emphasized that Hüseyin Gün, who is involved in the case, is an informant, and this situation is a political smear campaign.

He remarked, 'The person behind this coup wants to keep İmamoğlu inside.' He compared the situation to tactics used by FETÖ.

Özel concluded by stating that there can be no traitors from the party of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who defeated all enemies.
