CHP Reminds of Red Lines and Commission Work

CHP leader Özgür Özel made significant statements regarding the commission to be established in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. He emphasized that the commission will operate in accordance with the party's red lines.
Özel stated that political cases should come to an end and that non-custodial trials should be the norm. He also expressed that the practice of trustees should be abolished.
In the discussions, the CHP's determination to contribute to the peace process was also articulated. Özel said, "Democratic steps must be taken."
Özel emphasized that respect for the people's will is essential and that the consent of everyone should be obtained in this process, highlighting the importance of social consensus.
Stating that the CHP is determined to take necessary steps for Turkey's democratization, Özel concluded, "We are here and we are part of this process."
