Ekrem İmamoğlu remains in the spotlight. The latest hearing has been postponed to October 24.

In the trial at the Büyükçekmece 10th Criminal Court, İmamoğlu's lawyers and the Interior Ministry's lawyer were present. İmamoğlu did not attend the hearing.

The prosecutor requested to wait for the return of the file from the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. After the hearing, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın expressed that justice was not being served.

The indictment states that İmamoğlu is being tried for fraud in a tender during his time as the Mayor of Beylikdüzü in 2015. A prison sentence of 3 to 7 years is requested for him and other defendants.
