A new era has begun in Gaziosmanpaşa! Eray Karadeniz has been appointed as deputy mayor.

Following the arrest of Hakan Bahçetepe, a new election was held, and AKP candidate Eray Karadeniz won with 21 votes. Karadeniz has started engaging with the public through visits to local businesses.

Karadeniz expressed his gratitude to local shopkeepers on social media, stating, "Thank you to all our shopkeepers and neighbors for their warm welcomes and friendly conversations."

The CHP criticized this transition as a 'usurpation of the people's will' and raised concerns over Karadeniz's change of title from deputy mayor to mayor on the municipal website.

Karadeniz energetically started his new role by engaging with the public in the streets of Gaziosmanpaşa, emphasizing his commitment to gain the support of the community.
