Ekrem İmamoğlu gave his first reaction to the cancellation of his university diploma, stating it is unlawful.

Istanbul University announced the cancellation of Imamoğlu's diploma. He argued that such a decision could only be made by the Faculty of Business Administration.

Imamoğlu emphasized, "Those who made this decision will soon be held accountable before history and justice."

He stated that his political opponents are exploiting this situation, but the people's quest for justice cannot be stopped.

Imamoğlu's lawyers presented documents at a press conference to counter the allegations regarding the cancellation of his diploma.
