Climate Change and Global Warming: Summer-like Days Ahead

Climate change and global warming are causing summer-like days. Temperatures are above seasonal norms.
The General Directorate of Meteorology announced that from October 30 to November 3, 2025, temperatures will rise to 32 degrees especially in the Mediterranean and Southeastern Anatolia regions. Major cities like Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir will experience milder temperatures.

No significant rainfall is expected across Turkey over the weekend, although light rain may occur on the eastern Black Sea coast.
The heat wave can lead to health issues, especially for children and the elderly, who are advised to avoid outdoor activities during peak hours.
To combat climate change, individual and societal awareness must be raised. Energy conservation and eco-friendly practices are crucial in this fight.
