A storm warning has been issued for Izmir and the Northern Aegean!

The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change announced that the wind will increase its effect from noon. A strong and short storm is expected across Izmir, except for the districts of Kiraz, Beydağ, and Ödemiş.

In the northern Aegean Sea, winds are expected to reach speeds of 50-75 km/h. The storm is anticipated to lose its strength after the evening hours.

Meteorology urged citizens to be careful and take precautions against possible adverse conditions. It is crucial to be prepared for dangers that may arise from the wind.
