A forest fire broke out in Kastamonu! 10 hectares were damaged.

In the Örenli village of Taşköprü district, a spark from a baler in agricultural land caused the fire, which quickly spread due to the wind. The flames also jumped to the nearby forest.

The fire was brought under control thanks to the rapid intervention of the Forest Regional Directorate and firefighting teams. Initial assessments indicate that approximately 10 hectares were damaged.

Teams are continuing their cooling efforts. Such natural disasters can have significant impacts on the environment and agricultural areas.
