We are reporting the latest developments regarding the fire disaster. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı stated that forest fires are human-induced.

In his statement in Istanbul, Minister Yumaklı said, "We are fighting against forest fires that we all see on television these days. Most of the fires are caused by negligence," he said.

Yumaklı warned that "81 fires broke out due to cigarette butts. 50 fires were caused by picnic fires," urging citizens to be cautious.

Minister Yumaklı stated that 67 fires broke out across Turkey today, with 63 of them being brought under control.

He mentioned, "We are positioning our teams to intervene within an average of 10 minutes for fires," emphasizing the preparedness.

To prevent fires, citizens were urged to be careful. Yumaklı stated, "Please do not light fires outdoors, do not burn trash, do not throw cigarette butts."
