Traffic congestion in Istanbul has reached 85% on the European side and 90% on the Asian side. This situation has led to significant delays in transportation due to the effects of rain and the end of work hours.

Major arteries such as the 15 July Martyrs Bridge, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, and the Eurasia Tunnel are experiencing heavy traffic. Particularly on the D-100 highway, congestion is observed in Yenibosna, Bahçelievler, and Merter.

On the Asian side, traffic starting from Kartal extends to the Eurasia Tunnel and the 15 July Martyrs Bridge. Vehicles are moving very slowly in Acıbadem and Altunizade.

Public transportation is also experiencing congestion. Stations like Zeytinburnu, Cevizlibağ, and Mecidiyeköy are crowded with buses, metros, and trams.

According to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Traffic App, the overall traffic congestion in the city has risen to 87%. This situation is creating challenges for Istanbul residents in terms of transportation.
