Ümit Özdağ expressed that the long lifespan of pensioners has become an issue. The statements of the President of the Social Security Institution, Raci Kaya, have drawn significant reactions.

Kaya claimed that pensioners' salaries have decreased because they live longer. Özdağ remarked, "It's unbelievable. Now the long lifespan of pensioners has become a problem."

Özdağ emphasized that workers are not receiving the fruits of their labor and that the share of labor in national income is continuously decreasing. He stated that this situation is not sustainable.

He expressed that as the Victory Party, they propose indexing the minimum civil servant salary to the poverty line. Özdağ also highlighted the plight of child workers in harsh working conditions.

Özdağ stated, "These children did not die while playing house or running in hide and seek…" drawing attention to the situation of child workers.
