The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that temperatures will exceed 40 degrees across the country. This heat will be particularly felt in the Southeastern Anatolia region.

It is expected that air temperatures will remain 4 to 8 degrees above seasonal norms. Therefore, citizens are advised to avoid being outdoors during the hottest hours of the day.

Meteorology also warned about the risk of sunstroke. It is emphasized that especially the elderly and children should not stay outside.

With the rise in temperatures, local showers are also expected to be effective in the inner and eastern regions. This may help reduce the impact of the hot weather.

In Ankara, temperatures are expected to be 33 degrees, 30 degrees in Istanbul, and 37 degrees in Izmir. It is important for citizens to be cautious and take necessary precautions.
