Istanbul Airport has achieved a historic success!

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that Istanbul Airport reached the highest daily flight number since its opening with 1,695 air traffic movements. This success also enhances the airport's international prestige.

Uraloğlu stated that Istanbul Airport was named 'Best Airport in the World' for the second consecutive time by Travel and Leisure magazine. This shows how much Turkey's vision and service quality in aviation are appreciated worldwide.

Istanbul Airport surpassed major airports like Singapore Changi and Qatar Hamad to take the top spot. This success proves Turkey's significant role in aviation.

The airport continues to grow in both passenger and cargo traffic. Uraloğlu emphasized that Istanbul Airport is taking important steps towards achieving its annual goal of 200 million passengers.
