Temperatures are rising above seasonal norms!

The Meteorology Regional Directorate announced that between July 19 and 25, temperatures are expected to rise by 6 to 8 degrees. Citizens are advised to be cautious, especially during midday hours.

In Denizli, temperatures may reach 42 degrees, 37 degrees in Afyonkarahisar, and 38 degrees in Uşak. This increase could pose health risks.

Citizens are advised to take precautions against sunstroke and to avoid going outside during midday hours if possible. This is especially important for those with chronic illnesses and the elderly.

With rising temperatures, the risk of forest fires also increases. Therefore, caution is advised, especially in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions.
