The weekend weather is changing suddenly! After sunny days, thunderstorms are on the way.

The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued important warnings for Friday, April 18. Especially on Saturday, strong rain and storms are expected for the northern part of Turkey. Therefore, you should be careful while making your weekend plans.

On Friday, no rain is expected across the country, but on Saturday, thunderstorms are likely to affect many regions, especially Marmara. Temperatures will range from 20-26 degrees in the west and 12-20 degrees in the east.

On Sunday, the rain will decrease, but thunderstorms will continue along the Black Sea coast and northern Central Anatolia. In Marmara and Aegean regions, the weather will generally be partly cloudy.

In major cities, the weather will be as follows: Istanbul on Friday will be partly cloudy at 21°C; Saturday will have thunderstorms at 20°C; Sunday will be mostly cloudy at 22°C. In Ankara, Friday will be partly cloudy at 25°C; Saturday will have rain at 21°C; Sunday will be partly cloudy at 19°C.
