Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan requested that necessary precautions be taken to ensure the safety of Turkish citizens during his conversation with the Prime Minister of Montenegro. The Montenegrin authorities also provided assurances in this regard.

Following the incidents, the visa-free travel application for Turkish citizens to Montenegro has been temporarily suspended. This may affect the travel plans of Turkish citizens.
