Support for the Sumud Flotilla Grows in the Aegean Sea

Support for the Sumud Flotilla is growing in the Aegean Sea! Greece is taking action to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis announced during the UN General Assembly that they will ensure the safety of some vessels in their waters. The Sumud Flotilla, consisting of about 50 civilian boats, aims to break the Gaza blockade.

Spain has sent a second warship to protect the Sumud Flotilla. Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez expressed hope for the success of this mission.
Greece is not currently planning to join the naval forces of Italy and Spain. However, Gerapetritis stated that they are on alert for possible attacks.

The Global Sumud Flotilla stands out as the largest civil maritime convoy created to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, with participation from activists from over 50 countries. Its goal is to overcome the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and increase international solidarity.
