Developments Between Zelenski and Putin: Turkey's Role

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski emphasized Turkey's desire to contribute to maritime security. This statement was made during his meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
Zelenski stated that Russia is doing everything to prevent a meeting between him and Putin. He stressed that security guarantees should be structured similarly to NATO's Article 5.
Zelenski also added that Turkey wants to participate in Ukraine's security guarantees and take responsibility for maritime security. This strengthens Turkey's role in international diplomacy.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Putin is ready to hold a summit with Zelenski, but the agenda has not yet been determined. This shows how complex diplomatic relations are between the two countries.
Zelenski stated that if Russia does not show a willingness to end the war, it should be subject to sanctions. This will also affect the international community's stance towards Russia.
