Bahçeli argued that KKTC should join Turkey, stating, "Cyprus is Turkish, it is the homeland of Turks." He declared that the federation thesis has no validity.

In response to Dervişoğlu's criticisms of the MHP, Bahçeli emphasized the determination of the People's Alliance. He stated that MHP represents Turkish nationalism.

Bahçeli insisted that the KKTC parliament must urgently convene to declare that the election results and the transition to a federation cannot be accepted. This is critical for the fate of Turkish Cypriots.
