The TBMM Agricultural Frost Research Commission held an important meeting on climate change and agricultural policies.

Commission Chairman Adem Korkmaz stated that they gathered to discuss the impacts of frost on agriculture and the necessary precautions to be taken. Topics such as combating climate change and restructuring agricultural insurance were discussed during this meeting.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that necessary steps must be taken to assess the damage caused by frost to agricultural products. Additionally, information was provided about the effects of climate change on agriculture and potential future risks.

The commission will hold two technical and academic workshops on July 4, focusing on climate change and agricultural policies.

The effects of frost events have led to significant losses in Turkey's agricultural sector. Therefore, the commission's work is of great importance.
