Flood Disaster in Spain: 2 Dead, Hundreds Evacuated

In southern Spain, the Laurence storm has caused a devastating flood disaster.

Two bodies were found in Seville, swept away by floodwaters. In Cordoba, one person is missing, and search efforts are ongoing. Authorities evacuated approximately 370 homes around the overflowing rivers.

The Guadalhorce and Campanillas rivers in Malaga overflowed, flooding streets and roads. Schools were closed, and emergency services worked to rescue those trapped in their homes.

The Traffic Directorate reported that a total of 52 roads were closed due to heavy rainfall. The Martinho storm is expected to hit Spain tomorrow.
